The Biesemeyer T-square anti-kickback snap-in spreader increases table saw safety by reducing dangerous kickbacks. This spreader snaps in instantly and removes easily on left-tilt unisaws from the three major manufacturers. Each spreader includes a unique mounting bracket built to mount towards the saw using the existing mounting holes for your saw's factory guard/spreader unit. After the mounting bracket is installed, the spreader is likely to be aligned using the saw blade every time it is removed and reinserted. Remove the splitter blade quickly by taking your table insert, pulling around the spring loaded pin and pulling the blade out. Insert the spreader to the mounting bracket before spring-loaded pin engages the opening inside splitter blade to reinstall.
The Biesemeyer T-square anti-kickback splitter is designed to be found in conjunction using a basket-style blade guard. The splitters are not intended to become used which has a thin kerf blade. Minimum saw blade thickness is 1/8 inch.
