Proxxon Micro-Band Saw MBS/E - Solid ribbed die cast aluminum housing (no tubular or sheet metal) with a sturdy machined aluminum table with slot for miter gauge. Table tilts 45° for accurate miter sawing. Very quiet, high quality motor with toothed belt for prolonged operation. Electronically controlled variable speeds permit exceptional accurate cutting without requirement for additional finishing. Comes with blade size 42 inch x 13/64 x 1/64 inch. Ideal for fine work and permits cutting small radius materials. Also is sold with chart that indicates recommended speeds for practically all materials.

A solid, ribbed die-cast aluminum housing (not a tubular or sheet metal construction) ensures the required stability. The device has double ball bearing aluminum pulleys, a sturdy machined table using a slot to the miter gauge at the same time as the coolant trough. The worktable tilts as much as 45° for accurate miter cuts. The low noise 110-120V motor (high quality, for quiet, prolonged use) operates via toothed belt. Electronically controlled speeds for exceptionally accurate cutting (no subsequent finishing necessary) can be found from 395 to 820 ft/min. A practical table in the outside with the machine housing indicates the recommended speed for several of types of material. The blade size of 13/64" x 1/64" (5.0 x 0.4 mm) is perfect for fine work, allowing to reduce even smallest radii.
